The Alphabet That Count (2015)
I created The Alphabet That Count to highlight the aesthetic and formal properties of type. For this piece, I used selective cropping and letter arrangements to bring out the the unique typographic elements of Times New Roman and Gill Sans. Collectively, the grids spell out my name with accompanying numbers arranged in sequential order.
The Alphabets That Count was exhibited at the 10th Annual University of Wisconsin Provost Office Art Show in February 2016 and is now part of Bascom Hall's art collection.
